mosquito ringtone — have you heard it?
Somehow I ended up discussing the mosquito ringtone with a group of guys the other day. It’s old news — but if you haven’t heard of if — the story is that students were using a very high pitched mosquito ringtone in order to send text messages w/o the teacher hearing. The best part of the story is that they found it through anti-loitering technology (loudspeakers which project the tone to keep teens from hanging out). Anyone over 18 is not supposed to be able to hear it.
So I, like you, wanted to see if I could hear it. Well, here you go (play it to your heart’s content):
check it out — hopefully your ears are not as old as they say.
And since we’re checking our ears… could you ever see the pic in those magic eye prints?
Here’s one that’s animated in 3-D. You should be able to see something. Can you? I can.
