Yesterday was unreal — 80 degrees, 68 degree water, blue skies, and head high surf. We surfed until the sun went down — and then until we couldn’t see.  But I have to tell you about that sunset.  From our vantage point, we watched it dip behind the pier, creating a picturesque silhouette of pylons and palm trees.  The sky was filled with red, orange, pink, and blue.  It was amazing.  And if you looked towards Laguna, an almost full moon was low on the opposite horizon, painted orange by the refracted light.  We watched and listened as wave after wave crashed on the shore (and we even caught a few ).  My buddy looked at me and said, "feels like summer." yeah man, no kidding.
